For the Clarion hotel chain, the joy and passion of its employees are key ingredients in keeping guests coming back - time and time again. Clarion wanted to increase its sales and create growth by improving the skills of its employees. Joy and passion should permeate the entire business and it is important that all employees can live up to this every day in their work. Achieving this requires employees with the right attitude, of course, but also continuous work on Clarion's values.
To reinforce the great culture of passion and joy among all employees, we created the "Clarion Chain of Passion" training - with a digital workshop tool that increases knowledge and engagement around Clarion's different concepts. The tools include a mix of film and discussion questions and the workshop is run by Clarion's "Passion Pilots". Employees are invited to discuss, inspire and learn in an accessible and enjoyable way, and the workshop tool allows them to communicate and contribute content themselves.
The "Clarion Chain of Passion" has helped employees to have a clearer understanding of what the different concepts mean and how they should work with them. The workshop format has allowed employees to come together to exchange knowledge with each other and further improve the concepts. Following the launch of the Clarion Chain of Passion, customer satisfaction - from already high levels - increased by 8%. By upskilling its employees, Clarion strengthened its brand.
